A little Appreciation takes a long way.
Writing about Employee Appreciation, I remember watching a Malayalam movie, “Helen”; I liked the movie very much. It is all about a loving daughter and a career-oriented woman who focuses much on her goals and work.
The part of the movie that I appreciate is when Helen accidentally gets locked up in a freezer room and fights for her life every second. The movie was directed so well that every minute after she is locked up in the room makes us bite our nails with suspense, and in the climax, we see that a security guard comes on time and saves the girl.
Upon enquiry by Helen’s father about how he could make out that Helen might have been locked up in the freezer room, the answer given by the security guard is amazing.
He says that Helen is the only person who recognizes his presence and everyday smiles and wishes him every day when she comes and leaves the workplace.
He saw her coming that day but did not leave the place. Therefore, he went to check if she needed any help. The moral in the story is amazing; who knows, a simple appreciation given with a smile and wish could save a life.
