1. The first struggle Vidya Balan faced was being kicked out of 13 films. Therefore when for the first time, she got kicked out of the movie, and the rest of the producers followed the same.

She always felt useless and unattractive because of the above incident. This plunged her into losing the confidence to even look in her mirror for six months.

2. During their tenure working in 2003, she felt everything around her was going useless. Tamil director K Balachander hired her for two movies, but suddenly, the director replaced her.

The actress, after this incident, walked from Marine Drive to Bandra with her eyes full of grief and agony.

3. She received many brickbats. This included people commenting on her weight. Therefore Vidya Balan told people about her other struggle with insomnia.

She told people that her being fat was not due to overeating or not working out. The primary reason was her sleeping disorder and wide gaps between her meals.

Therefore she is a woman full of strength who managed to cope with these struggles in life.

Achievements of Vidya Balan

1. In 2006 she won the Guild award for best female debut and the Zee cine award for best female debut for the movie Parineeta.

2012 she won the stardust award for an actor of the year – female for the movie the dirty picture.

In 2013, 12, and 10, she won the IIFA award for best actress for the film in Kahaani, the dirty picture, and Ishqiya. In 2014 she won Padma Shri.

2. In 2022 she won best actor female – jury (film) for Jalsa. She also won the Filmfare award in 2022.
